Departmental Meeting (Fall2023)

On Wednesday, November 01, 2023, the Computer Science Department at Komar University of Science and Technology held its departmental meeting.

During the meeting, various topics were discussed, including updates on the items which were discussed in the second meeting.

Ms. Sara informed us about an ongoing competition supervised by Huawei. She plans to enroll our students in it, mentioning that there will be 3 to 4 stages of screening that the student group must successfully navigate.

Osman and Dr. Rawia offering a free coding program. Dr. Rawia will run the program, aiming to teach coding basics and help kids build their own projects. The best projects will be shown on University Day in May 2023.

Dr. Osman and Mr. Muhammad proposed switching Quiz #3 from theoretical to practical, after informing the students and notifying the instructors.

Bnar Mentioned that we can use those students who have internships to serve inside our university as a part of their duties, for example, the students can role in the coding program.
