Dr. Shirin Noekhah
Shirin Noekhah is a lecturer who not only focuses on teaching activities but also participated actively in research. She has over 7 years of teaching experience and 3 years of IT industry experience. She has produced various scientific research publications. Her area of research is ranging in Information Retrieval, Database Systems, Software Engineering, Software reliability, Spam Detection, Text Mining and also Big Data.
She has received the excellence award for the doctoral research conducted in proposing a relatively new model for opinion spam detection. She did her Master’s degree in Computer Science and worked on the “Software Reliability Prediction” domain. The academic teaching experience besides the IT industry experience has made her an effective researcher and instructor.
